Service Visit Minimum
Velocity Bicycle Repair reserves the right to charge customers a minimum fee of $75 for any service visit, which covers up to 30 minutes of on-site service beginning at the time of arrival. Visits exceeding 30 minutes of duration will be charged an hourly rate of $95/hour.
Customer Information
Velocity Bicycle Repair will never sell or distribute any personal information provided by customers. Your information will not be used to distribute promotional materials of any kind without expressed consent.
Payment Methods
Tune-Up Package 30-Day Guarantee
Full-Tune, Pro Tune, and Bike Build service packages are backed with a 30-day service guarantee on the work performed. Quick Tune Ups, flat tire fixes, and any other service item are NOT explicitly covered under this service guarantee, and shall be treated on a case-by-case basis. Service visits which initially required a travel fee may incur a travel fee charge for each visit (see "Travel Fee" section).
The Tune-Up Package 30-Day Guarantee does NOT apply to non-bike shop branded bikes, or any electric bike with an MSRP of less than $1000. Velocity Bicycle Repair reserves the right to determine whether the 30-Day Guarantee can be applied to any specific bicycle.
Velocity Bicycle Repair accepts the following form of payments:
- Credit Card
- Contactless Payments (Apple Pay)
- Cash
Payment is expected immediately upon completion of desired work. Velocity Bicycle Repair reserves the right to retain customer's property until the invoiced services and materials are paid in full. After 14 days of non-payment, customer's property will be considered forfeited and service record will be made void, at which time Velocity Bicycle Repair may distribute property as it deems fit.
Travel Fee
Velocity Bicycle Repair reserves the right to charge an additional $150 travel fee for service visits outside of Reno, Sparks, and Washoe County to offset travel expenses. Travel fees may be applied to any service visit, including follow up tune-up guarantee visits.
